To access the MTM application, the different login procedures must be observed. The login procedure differs according to the role in MTM: Successful bidders log in with the free CH-LOGIN, while the internal demand units of the federal administration can log in with the smartcard.
The successful bidders from the nationwide framework contracts of the DTI sector of the Federal Chancellery submit their tenders electronically in MTM. To register in MTM, they use the free CH-LOGIN of the Federal Administration.
The CH-LOGIN is a procedure provided by the Federal Administration for identification and logging on to internet-based applications. Any natural person can create a CH-LOGIN. This enables the administrative units to make their specialised applications available to users outside the Federal Administration.
The following video shows how to register for the CH-LOGIN and how to gain access to federal web applications:
The demand units from the administrative units log on with a computer from the federal network and the personal smartcard and thus automatically gain access to the MTM application. Thanks to eIAM, an additional registration is not necessary.
eIAM is the Federal Administration's central access and permissions system for web applications and apps. eIAM avoids having to create a separate login procedure for each application.
